Call for Host
Shape the Future of European Studies
We are seeking a university in the UK to host the UACES 57th Annual Conference in 2027. Hosting the conference offers your institution a unique opportunity to contribute to European Studies while showcasing your city’s cultural and academic excellence.
We envision future conferences as hubs for innovative discussion, where scholars connect with local communities, and partnerships extend beyond the event.
Potential hosts for the Annual Conference will need to be able to accommodate up to 500 participants over three days. Recent hosts have included the University of Trento (2024), Queen's University Belfast (2023), and ESPOL (2022).
Why Host the UACES Annual Conference?
Our Annual Conference is more than just an academic event; it’s an opportunity to build networks, foster collaboration, and leave a meaningful legacy for the host university and city. Hosting the conference provides your institution with a platform to not only showcase its expertise but also to support up and coming scholars in European Studies.
Key benefits of hosting the UACES Annual Conference:
- Raise the profile of your institution by positioning it as a leading venue for European Studies, attracting scholars, policy-makers, and thought leaders from around the world.
- Strengthen ties between global scholars and regional stakeholders, including local government, businesses, and civil society. Hosting the conference can spark meaningful conversations and collaborative projects that benefit both the academic community and the local area.
- Leave a mark on your city by connecting the conference to local culture, history, and public interests. Join an extensive network of distinguished universities that have previously hosted the UACES Annual Conference.
