Our principal activities include:

UACES is a Registered Charity in England and Wales (no. 1163773). The object of the Association is to advance education for the public benefit through the promotion of teaching and research in contemporary European Studies.

**Due to strike action in the UK, this event is postponed until early-2022** The 3rd in the series run by UACES and IACES investigating the various crises facing the UK, Ireland and the EU in the 2020s. This seminar focuses on the Future of Europe and the UK's and Ireland's places within it.

Following the UACES Annual Conference in September 2021, we are planning an author workshop through the UACES Research Network “The Role of Europe in Global Challenges: Climate Change and Sustainable Development”. The workshop participants will work towards a joint publication project, such as a special issue or an edited book.
