We currently have three positions available on the committee which will commence in December for a 2-year term from December 2026 to December 2028.
Positions Available:
- Chair
- Communications Officer
- Events Officer (Joint Position)
Key Dates:
- Nominations Close on Monday 30 November 17:00 GMT
- The election will run from Wednesday 2 December until Tuesday 15 December at 17:00 GMT
How to Apply:
If you are interested in standing for the Committee, please complete the online nomination form to put yourself forward for one of the positions: Graduate Forum Committee Elections Nomination Form.
The form will ask for a brief bio and a 100-word statement outlining your motivation for joining the UACES Graduate Forum committee and how your experience will help you in the role. We recommend preparing these in advance
You must be a UACES member in order to run for election. Please note that group members are not eligible to stand in elections. If you are a member via a group membership and wish to stand, you should join as a PhD Researcher, Early Career or Individual member. It would be desirable (but not essential) that these positions are filled by people who are still completing their PhD.
If you have any questions about the roles or elections, please contact Daniel Marshall (dmarshall@uaces.org).
If you’d like to speak to any of the current committee members about the roles, you can find their information on our website at: https://www.uaces.org/gfcommittee. Alternatively, Daniel can put you in contact by email.
