Expert on Europe

I am Senior Research Associate at University of East Anglia working on the UK's relationship with the EU and EU member states, as part of the UK in a Changing Europe programme. I work with Professor Hussein Kassim on the ESRC project 'Living with the Neighbours: the UK, the EU and wider Europe'. Before joining UEA, I did my PhD at the University of Edinburgh. My research focused on the European Commission's response to the Global Financial Crisis in 2008-2010, specifically in relation to the creation of the three European Supervisory Authorities on financial activities. Prior to working in academia, I worked for over five years in Brussels as a Political and Policy Advisory at European level.
