The University of Warsaw is the best and the biggest university in Poland. It consists of nearly 45,000 students, 3,000 Ph.D. students, and 8,000 researchers, which makes it possible to conduct over 100 Bachelor and Master Programmes. Many of them are conducted in English because internationalization is one of the most important elements of the University's development.

The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw is one of the most significant teaching and research units in Central Europe. Research interests, including political science, international studies as well as national and cyber security are reflected by Faculty's departments and study programmes.

The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies is one of the largest teaching and research units of its kind, not only in Poland but also throughout Central and Eastern Europe. We operate as a part of the best and the largest Polish university – the University of Warsaw. In the QS World University Ranking 2022, the University of Warsaw was ranked 101-150 by subject "Politics".

The professors, lecturers, and employees at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies form a unique team, on a nationwide scale, of theorists and practitioners who are actively involved in public life, excellent educators and researchers, recognized experts, and authorities in their fields.

The Faculty publishes four scientific journals related to the research interests of the unit and academic staff: Stosunki Międzynarodowe-International RelationsPrzegląd Europejski (European Review), Problemy Polityki Społecznej (Social Policy Issues), and Studia Politologiczne (Political Science Studies).

Close to three and a half thousand students gain knowledge within our walls on both a full-time and part-time basis. The educational offer consists of nine highly attractive and prestigious programmes in Polish, and five in English, which for years have enjoyed unwavering popularity. In addition, the faculty has a wide range of postgraduate programmes, and also offers training at the doctoral level. Graduates are innovative and comprehensively educated professionals, highly valued in the labour market, which is confirmed by all sorts of rankings and statistics – they are also visible participants in public life, experts of national and international standing, and political commentators. Journalists, politicians, and managers at the highest level – many of them took their first steps in their respective fields within the walls of the Faculty.
