The American College of Greece - Deree College

The American College of Greece (ACG) is a private, non-profit, nonsectarian, co-educational academic institution founded in Smyrna, Asia Minor, in 1875, by Congregationalist missionaries from Massachusetts. It is the oldest and largest U.S.-accredited college or university in Europe.

ACG comprises two divisions: PIERCE (secondary education division) and DEREE (higher education division). The College has two campuses: the main campus in the Athens suburb of Aghia Paraskevi and a second campus in the center of Athens.

Both Greek and international students benefit from a commitment to quality that has been a trademark throughout ACG's history. The College's academic excellence is complemented by a dedication to making its programs affordable for all those who can meet its admission standards and succeed in its rigorous academic environment. More than 33,000 ACG alumni comprise a family of support that stretches throughout Greece and around the world. ACG graduates have been admitted to a wide range of the most advanced and prestigious academic programs in the United States and Europe and have made notable contributions in virtually every field of human endeavor.
