Meet the Editors: European Politics series

Webinar

Manchester University Press’ European Politics series

This long-established and highly respected series combines an important scholarly legacy with an ambitious outlook on European Studies at a time of rapid change for the discipline. Its geographical coverage encompasses the European Union, its existing and aspiring members, and ‘wider Europe’, including Russia and Turkey, and the series actively promotes disciplinary, theoretical and methodological diversity.

The editors particularly welcome critical scholarship on the politics and policy making of the European Union, on comparative European politics, and on contemporary issues and debates affecting the future of Europe’s socio-political and security outlook. Key areas of interest include Brexit, the environment, migration, identity politics and the ever-changing face of European integration.

This event will introduce you to our series editors, and allow you to ask them your questions:
Dimitris Papadimitriou, Professor of Political Science, University of Manchester
Kathryn Simpson, Associate Professor of Political Science, Manchester Metropolitan University
Paul Tobin, Senior Lecturer in Politics, University of Manchester

as well as an author who has recently had a book published in the series, Stella Ladi.

This event is aimed at early-career scholars looking to find out more about the series and publishing their research.

This event is in collaboration with The Manchester Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence (JMCE) is an interdisciplinary forum for the promotion research and teaching on Europe across The University of Manchester.
