Biography
Olena Yermakova is a Ukrainian qualitative researcher currently focusing on Ukrainian migration into the EU, particularly Poland. She is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University, Kraków, and a former Early Stage Researcher in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN 'FATIGUE'. She holds a MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw), and is also an alumna of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2019-2020 she was a visiting researcher at the University of Belgrade. Besides, she gives guest lectures at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Currently, Olena is a visiting fellow at IWM Vienna and RECET, University of Vienna.
