RELATE UACES Research Network Launch Event
Launch event for the UACES European Studies in a Relational Universe (RELATE) Research Network with Keynote by Prof Emilian Kavalski.
RELATE (European Studies in a Relational Universe) is a brand new UACES Research Network launching this April. Its primary goal is to bring social relational approaches – particularly practice theory, network theory and pragmatism - into the mainstream of European and EU studies. Through our seminars, conference contributions, reading group and other events, we aim to foster a supportive community of like-minded senior, mid- and early career scholars and establish a methodologically rigorous research agenda for the application of these approaches to the study of contemporary issues in European politics.
At this online launch event, you will have the opportunity to hear from the network co-ordinators, engage with fellow scholars with an interest in social-relational approaches and hear from our keynote speaker, Prof Emilian Kavalski of Jagiellonian University, whose talk is entitled: "What can relationality be good for in IR and European Studies?".
