Annual Conference Dinner

Tuesday 4 September 2018

The UACES 48th Annual Conference Dinner takes place at the Pump Room of the Roman Baths, preceded by a drinks reception at the Great Bath.

At the heart of the City of Bath World Heritage Site, the Roman Baths consists of the remarkably preserved remains of one of the greatest religious spas of the ancient world. The city’s unique thermal springs rise in the site and the Baths still flow with natural hot water.

The will provide a wonderful setting for our event on this late summer's evening. The evening will begin with a drinks reception followed by a three course meal and tea and coffee.

During the Conference Dinner, we will hold the UACES Awards Ceremony to celebrate our members’ achievements, including the winners of the Best PhD Thesis Prize, Best Book Prize, the Lifetime Achievement Award in European Studies, and the Luke Foster Prize for JCER Best Article.
