Conference Dinner

Tuesday 4 September 2018

The UACES 48th Annual Conference Dinner takes place at the Pump Room of the Roman Baths, preceded by a drinks reception at the Great Bath.

At the heart of the City of Bath World Heritage Site, the Roman Baths consists of the remarkably preserved remains of one of the greatest religious spas of the ancient world. The city’s unique thermal springs rise in the site and the Baths still flow with natural hot water.

During the Conference Dinner Awards Ceremony, we will be celebrating our members’ achievements, including the winners of the Best PhD Thesis Prize, Best Book Prize, the Lifetime Achievement Award in European Studies, and the Luke Foster Prize for JCER Best Article.

Tickets for the dinner will go on sale when conference registration opens (March 2018).
