Our staff has a background in political science, public administration, international relations, sociology and philosophy. Our field of study is the theory and practice of political and administrative processes at both national and international levels, with a specific interest for European politics.
The department of Political Science is a member of the research school Netherlands Institute of Government and of the scholarly association European Consortium of Political Research. Within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences our staff participates in the research programme politics and Culture in Europe.
