The Russian Presidential Election

Panel Discussion

This event hosted by UK think tank the Centre for European Reform and UCL European Institute will discuss the effects of the recent Russian presidential election.

The discussion will consider the following questions: What effect will Putin’s re-election have on the war in Ukraine? What does it mean for the security of Europe? Faced with the prospect of another six years of Putin, how should Europe approach relations with Russia? What would have to change (in Russia or the West) to return to a stable equilibrium? What (if anything) can the West do to influence Russia’s future development and post-Putin prospects?
