Jean Monnet Summer School, "Turkey-EU Relations in the Wider Neighborhood: Foreign Policy and Security Dimensions"
MEDIATE (Mending the Gap in Turkey-European Union Relations in the Post-Pandemic Era) Jean Monnet module aims to explore the current dynamics and future of European Studies in Turkey, specifically during the post-COVID-19 period.
The MEDIATE project aims to bring into discussion the current dynamics, actors and events in Turkey-EU relations, to broaden the perspective of the students of Turkey-EU relations by providing them a variety of theoretical approaches to better understand and evaluate the course and current state of relations in a broader global and regional context.
In line with this perspective, JMCE Centre for European Studies of the Middle East Technical University (CES METU) invites students of undergraduate (4th year), postgraduate and doctoral programmes as well as early researchers and junior policy professionals to an online summer school as a part of the MEDIATE project between 21 August and 1 September 2023. The title of this year’s summer school is: “Turkey-EU Relations in the Wider Neighborhood: Foreign Policy and Security Dimensions”.
