The online course takes place from 28 June – 9 July 2021

What?

The course schedule has been remodeled into an intensive two-week programme, containing theoretical lectures, interactive workshops and several discussion opportunities. Each day will consist of maximum of 4 hours of live sessions, complemented with independent study and group work activities. The approach and content remain unchanged, except for the site visits and city walks that obviously can’t take place. More information can be found in the content description below.

How?

The summer school will be hosted via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, the collaborative online learning platform of the University of Antwerp. Participants need to have a stable internet connection, a headset, a computer and a webcam. The summer school offers a variety of teaching methods. Most sessions will be held “live” as to enable interaction and debate. Interactive workshops and several breakout sessions will assure the exchange of knowledge and perspectives among the participants. Some theoretical or introductory sessions will be recorded and shared beforehand.
