Find out more about us

Did you know

that for over 50 years the UK has been home to UACES, the world’s leading association for academics researching Europe and the EU?

Established in 1967, UACES’s members have been at the forefront of European Studies since before the UK joined the EEC.

What we do

We support academics through grants, scholarships and conferences and provide a platform of resources, such as a thriving blog, 2 journals, podcasts and videos. We want to spread our members’ expertise to a wider audience and highlight the importance of the field of contemporary European Studies.

Benefits for professionals working in and on Europe

Although we are an academic association, professionals who work in and on Europe benefit, too. Our community spans over 1000 experts in different fields like law, economics and trade, politics and current affairs. We promote our member's events, connect them with each other and invite them to open the conversation about a wide range of topics.
