Professor Erne is a regular media commentator, working with print and broadcast media at home and overseas. He has been interviewed on European integration, social policy, health policy, referendums, trade unions, social movements, labor migration, EU democracy, direct democracy, and German, French, Italian, Irish, Swiss and Romanian politics.
