Professor Dr. Roman Petrov (National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ukraine)

Roman Petrov holds a Jean Monnet Chair in EU Law and is Head of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. His research focuses on the EU Neighbourhood Politics and the extension of EU legal integration to the Eastern Neighbourhood. His presentation builds on his current work on the EU Ukraine association agreement (http://cadmus.eui.eu/handle/1814/32031 )

Discussant: Dr Timofey Agarin (Queen's University Belfast)

Timofey Agarin is a lecturer in the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy and the Director of the Centre for the Study of Ethnic Conflict. His research focuses on ethnic politics and their impact on democratisation and post-communist transition in Europe.
