Anna-Lena Högenauer studied European Studies with French at King's College London (BA), European Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges (MA) and holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Edinburgh (2011). She has also spent a year abroad at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques Paris. After her studies, she worked as postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Maastricht University. She is currently a research scientist at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Luxembourg.Her research includes questions of multi-level governance, regionalism and regional interest representation, environmental policy-making, Europeanization, EU democracy and Brexit.
