After having "Bachelor of Law" degree from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Law in Izmir, Turkey, I have completed two LLM degrees. One LLM degree is from the University of Essex, United Kingdom in the field of "European Community Law" completed as a Jean Monnet Scholar of the European Union in 2000. I was a "Chevening Scholar" of the United Kingdom Government at the same University for my pre-doctoral studies in 2006-2007 period.I practiced as a full-time and part-time lecturer in the field of International Law and European Union Law at different universities including Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir University, Izmir University of Economics, Istanbul Kemerburgaz University and Istanbul Gedik University. I worked as a "European Union Expert" at the Prime Ministry Secretariat General for European Union Affairs in Ankara, Turkey from 2001 t0 2006. I was mainly responsible for legal issues relevant to Turkey's accession to the European Union at the Political Affairs Directorate.I was awarded a "Honorary Degree of Distinction".I have many publications in refereed journals. I have vast project experience in preperation, implementation and assessment stages. Currently, I am pursuing PhD studies at thesis stage at Marmara University in the field of European Union Law.
