The Doctoral Training Academy (DTA) is an annual 1-day event for PhD students and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in European Studies and related disciplines, providing practical advice for researchers at all stages of their PhD, including the immediate years post-submission.

This year's theme is publishing. The day will comprise a mix of roundtable discussions, talks and workshops focusing on how to get your research published and boost your career development. Academic and industry representatives will lead sessions on: Books; Journals; Media, Public and Policy Engagement and Impact; Writing Funding Bids; Writing Blogs, and Peer Reviewing.

The Doctoral Training Academy is an excellent opportunity to meet people who are engaged in related areas of research and to find out more about your subject association: UACES.

Directions: When you enter through the main building, you will pass by reception on your left and go up a few steps on your right. This will lead you to another hall, which is easily recognisable because it has the main staircase. The hall also gives you access to 4 hallways, 2 on the left and 2 on the right. You want one of the hallways on the left. If you look above the hallways doors they will indicate which rooms they give access to. You go down that corridor and turn left. The room will be on your right.
