ESSCA Space Talks

Conference

Perspectives on European Space Policy

The ESSCA Space Talks were born out of a desire of ESSCA’s Europe-Asia Institute to open up its research topics to a wider audience: Europe, international relations, innovation through space policy issues, and sustainable development.

In light of the public’s interest in space (Thomas Pesquet, SpaceX, etc. ….) and based on its own expertise, the Institute decided to launch an annual event for the general public on space issues.

For these first ESSCA Space Talks, we are pleased to welcome Dr Pascal Legai (security advisor to the ESA Director General) and Elodie Viau (Director of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications at ESA) to discuss the issues and challenges related to safety in space and security from space.

The conference will be held in French. Please register if you wish to attend this event, in person or online.

With Dr Pascal Legai, Senior Security Coordinator to ESA DG & Elodie Viau, Director of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications & Head of ESA/ECSAT @ HARWELL
Hybrid event: ESSCA Campus Angers (1 rue Lakanal), Salle du conseil, and online via TEAMS
