European Social and Political Studies at UCL (ESPS) is an undergraduate degree programme with a European focus for those with an interest in international relations, politics, philosophy, and economics, history, or law. ESPS students develop skills and knowledge in the social sciences and the humanities and have the opportunity to study a European language (or two). Third-year students spend a year at a university in continental Europe. Graduates typically go on to pursue careers in a European public policy context. Admission to the degree is highly competitive, and ESPS students achieve the best degree results in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at UCL.
