The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has started off with undergraduate admissions in three departments, Departments of Economics, Management/Business Administration, and International Relations. In the course of 2010-2011 two more departments were established: Departments of Political Science and Public Administration and International Trade and Marketing. The Faculty is committed to provide an excellent education environment, with innovative curriculum, supported by experienced as well as young highly qualified academic staff. Our motto is highly qualified human resource, highly demanding academic programme, and highly adaptive management style. Our academic staff can be characterized as a group of young, dynamic, productive, cooperative scholars who are eager to utilize knowledge and technology, and keen to follow up domestic and international developments.

The Faculty offers five undergraduate programmes where the language of instruction is either in full English as in the Departments of Management/Business Administration, International Relations and International Trade and Marketing ; or partially English(%30 and above) as in the Departments of Economics, and Political Science and Public Administration. Every department shares the common vision, sense of participation, quality-orientation and motivation for innovation. Education at the undergraduate level normally covers four years in eight semesters. In the course of 2010-2011, the University has launched joint diploma programmes with Leeds Metropolitan University (UK), in conjunction with two departments, Management/Business Administration and International Relations. At this stage, two graduate degree programmes are offered at the Faculty, an MBA and an MA programme in International Political Economy.

The departments offer balanced, flexible programme courses, comparable to international norms and standards. Students are equipped with basic theoretical as well as applied knowledge and training so as to enhance theirleadership and managerial skills which are required for competing in a world of global interdependence.

Our students are encouraged to spent some time abroad in our partner universities through international student exchange programmes and to undertake internship in their field of study so as to develop their knowledge and experience. They are also given opportunities to do double major or minor in various disciplines.
