The Innsbruck School of Political Science and Sociology is one of the most important centers for the study of Contemporary Europe and the European Union in Austria. It offers a full curriculum in European Politics and Society with a particular concentration at the Master’s level. It hosts a number of research groups under the umbrella of its Research Center for Governance and Civil Society such as the Innsbruck Group on European Research (IGER), the Innsbruck Forum on International and European Relations (IFIER), and the International Security Research Group (ISRG).
