Oluwole Olutola has been a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Johannesburg, within the SARChI African Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, since September 2017. He holds a PhD in Political Studies from the North-West University, South Africa. His areas of specialization include environmental politics and climate change, with a particular focus on South Africa and the rest of Africa. Earlier, he obtained MSc (Political Science), MIR (International Relations) and BSc (Politics, Philosophy, Economics) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Oluwole has published widely in the area of environmental politics (climate change in particular) and related fields in reputed peer-reviewed journals. Few examples include: Olutola, O. (2020).
