Biography

Iris Goldner Lang, LLM (LSE), PhD (University of Zagreb), is a Jean Monnet professor of EU Law and the Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair "Free Movement of People, Migration and Inter-Cultural Dialogue" at the University of Zagreb. She is spending t2015/2016 at Harvard Law School as a Fulbright visiting researcher and a Visiting Professor (course: "Global Effects of EU law"). She has been a leader of Jean Monnet Modules "EU Migration Law and Policy" and "EU Internal Market Law" at the University of Zagreb. She was a British Government Chevening scholar at the LSE, an Ernst-Mach Scholar at the Johannes Kepler University (Linz), a SOTL Fellow at the Central European University (Budapest) and a visiting researcher at the LSE. She has been involved in lifelong learning programmes for Croatian judges, public servants and lawyer-linguists and in drafting several Croatian laws. She has taken part in Croatian EU accession negotiations. Prof. Goldner Lang is Co-Editor-In-Chief of the Croatian Yearbook of European Law and Policy. She is editor of three books and author of a number of articles, chapters in books and a book From Association to Accession: How Free is the Free Movement of Persons in the EU (Eleven).
