My thesis involves a critical analysis of the EU's efforts in providing a legal framework for dealing with cross-border insolvencies. My research is located within the broader legal and policy debates surrounding further European integration.I hold a Law Degree from the University of Strasbourg (2012), LL.B (UCC, 2013) and LL.M in Business Law (UCC, 2014). I was awarded a PhD Scholarship from the UCC School of Law to conduct my doctoral research.I interned in the Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Team at Mason Hayes & Curran (Dublin, 2015), was Assistant National Rapporteur on the Irish Report for the European Commission Study on a New Approach to Business Failure and Insolvency (2015) and a part-time Assistant Lecturer in Business Law and Legal Systems (UCC).Articles in:- International Company and Commercial Law Review (Volume 28, Issue 10 (2017))- Edinburgh Law Review (2016) - Trinity College Law Review (2015) (awarded the Reddy Charleton and McKnight Prize for Best Article)Chapter in Book: - The treatment of executory contracts in France (Edward Elgar, 2018).Most recent conferences include: - SLS Conference 2017- Inaugural CICL Research Group Conference (2017)- INSOL Europe (2016)- Pan-European ECPR Conference on the EU (2016).
