Leeds is well served by Leeds Bradford Airport with direct flights to many European cities - see their website for a full list of their connections.
Taxi
A taxi transfer from the airport to the University takes about 20 minutes (8 miles).
Bus
There is a bus service (the No. 757) which connects the airport to the city. Details can be found on the West Yorkshire Metro website.
Train
There are no train services from the airport to the city.

Eurostar
If you are travelling by Eurostar, you can buy tickets that include the onward journey to Leeds.
The Eurostar arrives at London St Pancras station and you need to transfer to King's Cross station, a 5 minute walk away - this connection was recently refurbished and unveiled after many years of construction work.
There are direct trains to Leeds - the journey time is circa 2hr15min and trains depart roughly every 30 minutes depending on the time of day. The trains do not leave from Platform 9¾.

Leeds Railway Station
It is a 20 minute walk (without luggage) across the city centre from the railway station to the University of Leeds.
A taxi directly to Storm Jameson Court from the station is circa 10 minutes.

Via Toulouse
Jet2.com has direct flights from Leeds to Toulouse, from where you can catch the TGV train direct to Bordeaux.
The flights are already on sale.
On Wednesday 4 September 2013, Flight LS427 is scheduled to depart Leeds at 15:00 and arrive in Toulouse at 18:15.
According to current timetables, the TGV departs Toulouse at 20:15 and arrives in Bordeaux at 22:23 (duration 2:08hrs, no changes). There is also an earlier train, but the transfer from the airport to the train would be less relaxed. Please check the train timetables closer to the date for the most accurate journey information.
Via Limoges
Ryanair has direct flights from Leeds to Limoges, from where you can catch the train direct to Bordeaux.
The flights are now on sale.
On Thursday 5 September 2013, a Ryanair flight is scheduled to depart Leeds at 07:25 and arrive in Limoges at 10:10.
According to current timetables, the train departs Limoges at 12:33 and arrives in Bordeaux at 15:28 (duration 2:55hrs, changing in Perigueux). Please check the train timetables closer to the date for the most accurate journey information.
Via Liverpool
Easyjet has direct flights from Liverpool to Bordeaux.
The flights are now on sale.
On Thursday 5 September 2013, an Easyjet flight is scheduled to depart Liverpool at 12:55 and arrive in Bordeaux at 15:45.
The journey by train from Leeds to Liverpool is less than 2 hours.
Via Paris Charles de Gaulle
There are various flights from Leeds to Charles de Gaulle Airport, from where you can catch the TGV train direct to Bordeaux.
As an example, and according to 2012 timetables, the TGV departs Charles de Gaulle at 16:20 and arrives in Bordeaux at 20:28 (duration 4:08 hrs, no changes). Please check 2013 timetables once released.
Via London
There are direct flights from London Luton (Easyjet) and London Gatwick (Easyjet and British Airways) to Bordeaux.
On Wednesday 4 September 2013, there is a British Airways flight departing London Gatwick at 18:20 which arrives in Bordeaux at 20:50.
There is an Easyjet flight from London Luton which departs at 13:00 and arrives in Bordeaux at 15:40.
The journey by train from Leeds to London Luton or London Gatwick is approximately 3.5 hours.
