Welcome Reception
On Sunday evening, join us for a welcome drinks reception on campus.
Tours and Excursions
Walking Tour of Leeds
On Sunday afternoon, we will be offering a guided walking tour of the city.
The tour will include all the major landmarks of the city: Leeds Town Hall, the Civic Hall, the Art Gallery and the Henry Moore Sculpture Institute, Kirkgate Market (the largest indoor market in Europe), the Corn Exchange, the Victoria Quarter, Old Leeds and the River Aire.
The tour will be free, but there will be a limited number of places available. Booking for the tour opens in June.
Coach Trip to Saltaire
On Wednesday afternoon, there is an opportunity to visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Saltaire Village.
The trip includes a guided tour of the village and a visit to Salt's Mill, a gallery displaying works by renowned artist David Hockney.
The tour costs 15 GBP and we recommend that you buy lunch before the tour.
The tour departs at 13:30 from the University (boarding from 13:15), the return time of 18:00 is approximate and depends on traffic.
Conference Dinner
Night in the Museum
On Tuesday evening, join us for dinner in the central Arena of Leeds City Museum. The museum is located centrally on Millennium Square within easy walking distance of the University.
