Conference Reception and Dinner

This year's conference dinner takes place at the Manggha Museum. Situated along the banks of the Vistula River, it will provide a wonderful setting for our event on this late summer's evening. The evening will begin with a drinks reception followed by a three course meal and tea and coffee, and includes our annual UACES Awards Ceremony.
We will be celebrating the achievements of our members, including our new prize in memory of our late executive director: the Luke Foster JCER Best Article Prize, and the Lifetime Achievement Award in European Studies.

Starter: Smoked goose breast with Cumberland sauce, pomegranate seeds, marinated pear and fresh thyme
Vegetarian Starter: Traditional "bundz" eve's milk cheese with fresh tomatoes and parsley pesto with hazelnuts
Main Course: Guinea fowl breast with cherry sauce served with millet and red cabbage with cranberries
Vegetarian Main Course: Savoy cabbage stuffed with buckwheat and wild mushrooms served with mushroom sauce
Dessert: Delicate cheesecake with blackberry jelly and fresh blackberries served with pitaja fruit
