The Doctoral Training Academy is for any PhD student or Early Career Researcher (ECR) in European Studies who is interested in career development either during their PhD or in the immediate years afterwards.
This year's Academy takes place in the Benzie Building, Manchester Metropolitan University.
Up to 100.00 GBP is available towards travel and accommodation for each eligible participant (more info). Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided.
The programme comprises a mix of roundtables and talks looking at how you can boost your career development. Sessions will include: Tips & Tricks for Networking, the Digital Researcher, Presenting at and Organising Academic Conferences and a Guide to Writing Academic CVs and Cover Letters.
The seminar is an excellent opportunity to meet people who are engaged in related areas of research and find out more about your subject association: UACES, whether or not you're a member. A detailed programme will be available soon.
The event is organised by the UACES Student Forum Committee, who will also be having elections during the conference.
