The Europeanisation of British Politics and Policy

Conference 16 July 2004: Britain in Europe and Europe in Britain: The "Europeanisation" of British Politics, Sheffield, with Dr Denis MacShane, Minister for Europe.  This conference follows on from the work of the Study Group which has met since 2002.  Registration forms from Dr Ian Bache, see below.

This Study Group aims to test the value of the concept of "Europeanisation" in relationship to British politics and policies. It also seeks to contribute to a wider comparative debate about Europeanisation. The project will try to assess how Europeanisation interacts with other sources of change such as globalisation, the "new" economy and domestic sources of change (such as devolution in the British case).
