
Accommodation
The hotels below are suggestions only and not recommendations as they have not been inspected by UACES. Further ideas for accommodation can be found on the British Tourist Authority website.
Hotel Montana | Tavistock Hotel | YHA London
Clean, well-maintained bed and breakfast style hotel. Argyle Square is 250 metres south of King’s Cross station. If coming out of King’s Cross Station, use the underpass and take the exit signposted Gray’s Inn Road / south. As you come up the steps, you will be on the south side of Euston Road, and a McDonalds restaurant will be on your right. Walk straight down Crestfield Street (which has McDonalds on the corner) and Crestfield Street leads directly into Argyle Square.
To get to King’s College, the simplest way is to catch Bus No. 91 from near McDonalds on Euston Road. The bus will stop on the Strand, very close to the main entrance to King's College. The bus fare will cost £1.20 and although it is a relatively short journey, it will take up to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Large hotel, central London location. Several nearby restaurants, as well as buffet facilities offered in next door hotel, the Royal National hotel.
To get to King’s College, turn right out of the hotel and at the traffic lights, cross over the road and walk along Woburn Place to the bus stop. Catch Bus No. 96, 59, 168 or 91 to the Aldwych. King’s College is on the Strand, on the south side of the Aldwych. The bus fare will be £1.20.
