This conference, sponsored by UACES, will provide an analysis of the changing role of the Presidency in the guidance and role of EU Policy making.  This will be a forum bringing together international scholars exploring differing national experiences and approaches.

How important is the six-month presidency of the European Union? As debate intensifies on the future institutional framework of the Union, this conference will examine the part played in EU policy-making by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
