This event will evaluate the complexities of gender politics in Europe. It seeks to assess the impact of gender power hierarchies in a multi-level polity. It will encourage scholars to explore the link between theory and practice in order to unpack current social, political and legal trends in contemporary European and international politics.

This event will provide a springboard for academic debates and further research in the field. It will explore the links between research focusing on the national dimension of gender politics and that looking at transnational and supranational interactions.
