Portsmouth is located on the south coast of England. It is well connected to London by both road (125km, ~2hrs) and rail (services from Waterloo take ~1hr30min). The three closest airports to Portsmouth are Southampton International Airport, Heathrow and Gatwick. Portsmouth is also served by cross-channel ferries.

The University is a city campus; the conference venue, the accommodation, the train station, shops, restaurants etc. are all in close proximity to each other.
