European Studies Research Students' Conference

This one-day conference is aimed at research students of all levels who are engaged in the field of EU-related studies. The emphasis of the conference will be placed on tackling the specific challenges which arise at varying stages of the doctoral process. This event offers an ideal introduction to the UACES community as well as an opportunity to meet fellow academics who are engaged in related fields of research.

Please refer to the UACES Student Forum website to view the most recent programme. UACES reserves the right to make changes to the programme if necessary.

Registration
To register for the conference, please complete the registration form. The registration fee is £35.00 for UACES members and £50.00 for non-UACES members. Membership of the UACES Student Forum does not constitute membership of UACES. It will NOT be possible to register on the day of the conference.

Travel Assistance
UACES student members are eligible to claim back some of their travel expenses from attending this conference.

UACES Student Forum Elections
During the conference, there will be elections for places on the Committee of the UACES Student Forum. Any student attending the conference or on the Euroresearch email list is eligible to vote. If you wish to stand for election you should contact any of the current UACES Student Forum Committee members. Any student may nominate themselves to stand for election, although it is expected that any successful candidate should join UACES (if they are not already a member). Further information about the elections will be posted to the Student Forum website.

Venue
The conference will take place in London. The closest tube station is King's Cross. Full details will be sent to you once you have registered.

If you are not familiar with London, and need some help finding your way around, Transport for London have an online journey planner.

Accommodation
Delegates will need to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
