Travel scheme for UACES students


British Academy Overseas Conference Grants

The British Academy are offering grants for travel expenses for scholars delivering a paper at a conference abroad. For Ireland, the maximum award is £200 and the relevant closing date to apply is 15th April 2006. To be eligible, applicants must be ordinarily resident in the UK and be delivering a paper at the conference.

The grants are not available for postgraduate students.

Subsidised Registration Fees

The registration fees for postgraduate students have been subsidised by UACES. The rates appear on the Registration Form.


Travel Scheme for UACES Students

As part of an ongoing programme to support students, UACES has been operating a travel scheme to assist students in attending UACES events.

Student members of UACES attending the conference in Limerick will be eligible for this scheme.
