This one-day conference is aimed at research students of all levels who are engaged in the field of EU-related studies. The emphasis of the conference will be placed on tackling the specific challenges which arise at varying stages of the doctoral process. This event offers an ideal introduction to the UACES community as well as an opportunity to meet fellow academics who are engaged in related fields of research.

The conference is open for any student to attend, whether or not they are a member of UACES. The deadline for registrations is Monday 7th November 2005. After this date please telephone +44 20 7240 0206 to see if there are any places available. It will NOT be possible to register on the day.
All confirmed registrations will be sent a receipt of payment and directions - if you have sent us your registration form, but not heard from us, you should contact us as soon as possible (and before the deadline).
The registration fee is £30 for UACES members and £40 for non-members. Please note that membership of the Student Forum or the EuroResearch email list does not constitute membership of UACES. If you wish to join UACES and take advantage of the membership rate, it is OK to send us the membership form with your conference registration form.

Travel Assistance
All UACES student members (Associate or Individual) are eligible to
claim back
some of their travel expenses to attend this conference.
UACES Student Forum Elections
During the
conference, there will be elections for places on the Committee of the UACES Student Forum. Any student
attending the conference or on the Euroresearch email list is eligible to vote.
If you wish to stand for election you should contact any of the current UACES
Student Forum Committee members. Any student may nominate themselves to stand for
election, although it is expected that any successful candidate should join
UACES (if they are not already a member). Further information about the
elections will be posted to the Student Forum website.
Accommodation
Delegates will need to make their own arrangements
for accommodation.
