The Future of Europe: The UACES 32nd Annual Conference and 7th Research Conference

The UACES 32nd Annual Conference and 7th Research Conference will be hosted by the Institute of European Studies at Queen's University Belfast from 2-4 September 2002. Following the success of recent Annual and Research Conferences held in Budapest and Bristol, the Conference will once again comprise a mix of research sessions, plenaries and lectures, bringing together academics and practitioners working both on and in the European Union. Highlights will include lectures and plenaries covering the future of the Union, European integration and the island of Ireland, enlargement and EU-US relations. A book exhibition is being planned for this event. In addition there will be the opportunity to enjoy the unique experiences which Belfast has to offer, with a pre-conference trip planned for Sunday 1 September to the Giant's Causeway, a reception during the conference at the Belfast City Hall, and the conference will be rounded off on the afternoon of 4 September with an opportunity to go on a tour of Stormont.
