'Third Ways' and Ways Forward: Policy Innovation in the European Union

This one day UACES sponsored conference will look at "third way" ideas and policies in EU Member States and assess to what extent they offer new ways of reconciling economic competitiveness and social cohesion and to what extent policies can be transferred across Member States to EU level.  It will also examine how such processes of policy transfer elucidate relationships between national and supranational actors.
